Potassium
Titanate

Potassium titanate is used in industry to manufacture ceramics. It is a linking material among the different constituents in a ceramic mix. Nowadays it is widely used in the manufacture of covered welding rods used in SHIELDED METAL ARC WELDING (SMAW). It is used as a part of the electrode covering formulation since it helps to stabilize the arc. It also provides definite properties to slag viscosity. As a result, potassium titanate contributes to enhance the weld bead looks.
